United Academic Forum of Basic Science for Undergraduates

Introduction

I developed and co-organized this communication platform designed for undergraduates from various universities, fostering collaboration and engagement in basic science research. Now the members of United Academic Forum of Basic Science for Undergraduates include student organizations from Nanjing University(NJU), Shanghai Jiaotong University(SJTU), University of Chinese Academy of Sciences(UCAS), University of Science and Technology of China(USTC) and Xi’an Jiaotong University(XJTU), and the Forum is cooperating with Chaoli Forum. Timeline

• December 2020: Created ‘inter-university forum of science’ with undergraduates from USTC and NJU, co-organized the first research experience sharing activities.
• February 2021: Co-organized 2021 winter seminars. Invited undergrauadtes form SJTU and UCAS to join the forum.
  • General Relativity Seminar. Host: Qinxun Li (undergraduate from USTC, current PhD student in Utah university)
  • Statistical Mechanics Seminar. Host: Tingjun Zhang (undergraduate from NJU, current PhD student in Rice university), etc.
  • Electrodynamics Seminar. Host: I held this seminar.
• May 2021: Formalized ‘inter-university forum of science’ and changed its name to United Academic Forum of Basic Science for Undergraduates.
• August 2021: Co-organized the second research experience sharing activities.
• September 2021 – February 2022: Held the position of the Executive Secretary-General of the Council of United Academic Forum of Basic Science for Undergraduates. During my term, I
